It was a short trip to Malang, only 8 hours from Jogja by bus. We only had one destination, Jawa Timur Park 1, and we were there from 9am untill 4pm, maximum pleasure :D

My oh my, I won't tell you about this place in detail, just check their website (http://www.jawatimurpark1.com/). But, I would like to share my vision about that place, some pieces that made me want to capture them with my camera phone. Here they are..

What so special about sunset that could make everyone loves it? (including me). The colors, the view, the atmosphere or maybe with who you spend that sunset time. But yeah, we are always waiting for sunset to admire it.

Plateau of Gods

Dieng Plateau

Finally, I had put my feet on the most beautiful plateau in Java, Dieng. Alhamdulillah.. and I just can't move on from that moment. It was fun fun fun and fun, I can't even mention another words to describe that trip.
I would love to tell you a little about Dieng, according to the short documentary movie that I had watched earlier in Dieng Plateau Theater, Dieng name derived from some Sanskrit language 'Di' and 'Hyang' means 'a place of Gods'. Located at more than 2000 meters above sea level, this misty area has a super cold weather. Another statement from the movie, even in July and August the temperatures can reach the freezing level, 0 degrees Celsius.

Green Valley

Just visited another beauty of my hometown Jogja. Well, it's not a popular destination, at least for now, but I already fall for this place. This place known as "Kebun Buah Mangunan" (Mangunan Orchard). I'm not talking about the fruits here, coz I didn't see any :D But we could enjoy awesome views from up there, one of my favorite view is the valley below and the sound of cows, felt so relaxing.

Setumbu; Borobudur Nirwana Sunrise

Finally I've got my feet on Setumbu, yeah! I knew about Setumbu from here, and it blew my mind away. So, when I had a chance to go, I didn't neglect it. Thanks to om Memet, om Edi, om Mandra, and Ine for letting me be a part of your hunting trip to setumbu. Although we had to walked to the top of the hill, dark and slippery track, and... it cost Rp 15.000 for one person. But, it worth beautiful sunrise, view of Borobudur, mountain, and morning mist. Setumbu already become one the most favorite spot for photographers, together with non-photographer tourist, they photographing sunrise, Borobudur, or self-portrait with Setumbu view as the background. And yes, Setumbu getting crowded by the morning comes.

We came here for my sister's pre-wedding photoshoot last saturday. That was our first visit except for my sister. So, now I saw it myself, the beach that everyone talking about, the Pura Kejawen, statues, white sand, cliff, waves, and yeah!

Krakatau Trip

Last weekend trip to Krakatoa was my first mountain climbing, exhausting yet exciting experience. We did a light hiking to the top of the child of Krakatoa Mountain, but that wasn't the only one excitement :)

Sit while sunbathing in the deck was a fun moment, even though we have to deal with waves. The boat's crew are very friendly and helpful.

Volcanic Krakatoa
After the most terrific eruption in 1883, now Krakatoa spoil us with beautiful view. In 1927 The child of Krakatoa appeared and now still 'growing' and expanding. In this volcanic island we could climb to the top of the child of Krakatoa mountain, and we did it in the early morning to see the sunrise.

farewell Bakauheni 

This trip getting more special because it's also a precious event called "Wanita Peduli Leukemia" (Women with Concern for Leukemia). We gathered to give support to Leukemia patient, esp Sarah. There were 2 speakers who gave us knowledge about Leukemia, and how to support them. They are Mr. Willy Kasakeyan and Mrs. Lydia Dumaiyanti from "Himpunan Masyarakat Peduli LGK" (Leukemia Granulositik Kronik). This organization helps people with leukemia get their right medicine in affordable price or maybe free. But, the other purpose is to create a supportive and positive group forum for Leukemia patients.
