Am I the one who always waiting and exciting about this art fair? I don't think so. ARTJOG became one of the popular art fair here in Jogja. Tons of people come to this event every year, and for the very first time ARTJOG ain't free no more. Legacies of Power is the theme for this year, with a focus on political issue of 2014 in Indonesia, when we have general election, and a new president will be chosen.

It was a short trip to Malang, only 8 hours from Jogja by bus. We only had one destination, Jawa Timur Park 1, and we were there from 9am untill 4pm, maximum pleasure :D

Okay, last week I visited my sisters in Depok, West Java. I miss them so much, especially my super handsome nephews, Aira, Zeke and baby Genta. We had so much fun, and I already miss them now :( But, it's time for my feet to be your guide to the beauty I have found in Godong Ijo.

What so special about sunset that could make everyone loves it? (including me). The colors, the view, the atmosphere or maybe with who you spend that sunset time. But yeah, we are always waiting for sunset to admire it.

Plateau of Gods

Finally, I had put my feet on the most beautiful plateau in Java, Dieng. Alhamdulillah.. and I just can't move on from that moment. It was fun fun fun and fun, I can't even mention another words to describe that trip.
I would love to tell you a little about Dieng, according to the short documentary movie that I had watched earlier in Dieng Plateau Theater, Dieng name derived from some Sanskrit language 'Di' and 'Hyang' means 'a place of Gods'. Located at more than 2000 meters above sea level, this misty area has a super cold weather. Another statement from the movie, even in July and August the temperatures can reach the freezing level, 0 degrees Celsius.

Volcanic ash has fallen, cover up my hometown Jogja on February 14th, thicker than ever. Those massive volcanic ashes are from Mount Kelud's major eruption which more than 200 km from Jogja. Gloomy morning for us, no more pinky valentine. Hope everything will back to normal, or even better.
